HARMONY FAMILY CENTER PARTNERS WITH EPIC NINE AFTER RECEIVING GRANT FROM TENNESSEE’S DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN’S SERVICES FOR FOSTER CARE RECRUITMENT

Maryville, TN., August 31, 2021 — Epic Nine, founded by Jeremy LaDuke in 2014, continues to help local businesses grow. Most recently, Epic Nine partnered with Harmony Family Center. This decision followed after the non-profit received a grant from Tennessee’s Department of Children’s Services. The grant will go towards foster care recruitment across the state.

“The state of Tennessee could not have picked a better partner than Harmony Family Center,” said LaDuke. “Epic Nine is honored to partner with the Harmony team in such a significant task.”

The marketing agency’s mission is to help businesses discover their marketing mountains. Epic Nine has helped hundreds of small and medium businesses navigate their way to the peak.

“The staff at Harmony are experts at helping children and youth who have experienced trauma. We are so fortunate to have them in our communities,” said Tonia Latham, Strategic Development Director at Epic Nine. “As they focus on the therapeutic aspect of the service, we are focusing on the marketing strategies to help them reach those who might have never considered being a foster parent in the first place.”

“Our partnership with Epic Nine allows us to elevate our mission. They handle the marketing, and we keep our focus on what we do best. Providing excellent services to our clients,” said Emilee Headrick, Master of Social Work for Harmony Family Center.

Both Epic Nine and Harmony are eager to see what good this union will bring to the children and families of Tennessee. By expanding the search to include non-traditional families, such as those without children and those in the LGBTQ+ community, Epic Nine and Harmony wish to recruit foster parents all across the state, specifically targeting underfunded demographics so that children may have a higher chance of staying in their own communities.
